The enterprise was established in 2010 for the production of vegetable oils from sunflower and rape seeds intended for the production of biodiesel fuel.

The site is situated on part of the Danube Industrial Zone TEGRA, on the very bank of the Danube River. The production processes in the plant are completely automated with microprocessor-based control of production operations and control of technological parameters. The technologies, machinery and equipment deployed are developed by the Belgian company DESMET BALLESTRA. The rated capacity provided for the facility is 700 tons of sunflower or rape seeds for 24 hours.

The plant is divided into several major units which are directly involved in the production process, as well as additional service units to ensure the normal operation of the plant.

The plant yields the following products:

Vegetable oils
The vegetable oil is a fat (esters of glycerol with higher fatty acids) yielded from oil seeds (rape and sunflower) by mechanical pressing and chemical processing.

Meals
When extracting fats from oil seeds are yielded protein-rich fodders - meals. Product of oil production, yielded by extraction and heat processing of seeds. The result is a meal containing only 0,5 to 1,5 % fat. Thus, a fat-poor fodder, a valuable protein meal is produced from the oil seeds. It contains vitamins from the groups E and B, rich in phosphorus.
