ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES
In 2022 alone Bulmarket Rail Cargo acquired 6 new electric locomotives.
We aim to regularly upgrade and renew the available stock in order to cover a wider range of services and rail network and to use the most modern and environmentally friendly technologies on the market.
The 1080 Smartron series locomotives have proven to be the workhorses of the locomotive industry. They are the successors of Vectron – one of the widespread and well-known locomotive series in Europe. Moreover, they are locomotives that are of an approved type for several countries, namely for Bulgaria and Romania. Bulmarket Group owns railway carriers in these two countries and the use of locomotives admitted to the market and authorized for operation in Bulgaria and Romania gives an advantage for affordable transfer and use in these countries.

Our diesel locomotives use bio-based fuel, which drastically reduces carbon emissions.
